Inês Teixeira Duarte, from Portugal, is currently ENDietS Joint President and second-year Biomedical Research Master’s student at NOVA University in Lisbon, where she also earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Sciences in 2022. Her research focuses on the impact of blackberry compounds on mitochondrial parameters in adipose tissue. Inês is finalizing her internship to become a registered dietitian at the same institution. Additionally, she works as a Junior Project Manager for the National Program for Oncological Diseases at the Directorate-General of Health, overseeing the implementation of multiple EU-funded projects in the cancer field in Portugal.
