“Challenges and Perspectives of Sustainable Food Communication to Consumers”

Kenia’s work at EUFIC focuses on building bridges through good communication practices. She regularly writes articles for lay audiences about nutritional science, manages the Sustainable Food Systems Network, and creates the content for the Erasmus+ project FoodStories, focused on empowering scientists towards more effective food science communication using storytelling techniques. She has a background in Food Systems and Nutrition and has also conducted storytelling and scicomm workshops both at EUFIC and as part of her role as an editor-in-chief of The Science Basement, an NGO that focuses on creating low-threshold opportunities to encourage and support early-career researchers to communicate their work.
