Nutrition Institute (Beslenme Enstitüsü), GIFT
Gıda, İçecek ve Tarım Politikaları Araştırmaları Derneği (Food and Agriculture Policy Research Center – GIFT-www.gift.org.tr) is a civil society platform that was established in Ankara with the aim of supporting information-based needs of stakeholders and policy-makers in the food and agriculture fields. Under GIFT, “Nutrition Institute” was established for increasing food and nutrition literacy in public, publishing nutrition based fact checking information and spreading knowledge and awareness about nutrition in disadvantaged groups such as people with chronic disease, sports nutrition, elderly nutrition, nutrition in childhood or food allergy.
